Hi James
I am still getting an error 404 when I click on the hyperlink that is in the spreadsheet.
If possible call me at the office 3405147647

Okay, what you need is to create URLs (Uniform Resource Locators) to the images, instead of relative file
paths.
Dropbox explains how to do this here: https://www.dropbox.corn/en/help/167
Show instructions for the platform used by the creator of the spreadsheet, then use the relevant method to copy
the link, & paste it into the spreadsheet. (This means if Daphne doesn't have Dropbox installed already, you'll
need to do that for her.)

As long as it's a URL hyperlink, when the viewer clicks it, it will hurl to a web browser to view the contents of
the file or folder. Folders of images in Dropbox create slick gallery allowing you to click through them (see my
demo here: https://www.dropbox.corn/sh/4jumgmb9f7hb93i/AABnEJG2DqdWuIgvNQYyPUAba?d1=0 — yes,
all my photos are of cats).
This means
• the boss doesn't have to install Dropbox to view the images,
• you're not downloading images to his computer without him knowing
• the folders don't need to be "shared"
• the links will work on all platforms (windows, OS X, iPhone / iPad, Android, etc.)

Good day James
The project is to create a way that JE can view the punch list and click on a hyperlink that will bring up
pictures for each line item ( one line item may have 30 pies to it).
Daphne and Anna have an excel punch list and we are able to get hyperlink pointing to zip files which work
well for PC, but not on the macs.
Daphne says that we don't have to be limited to excel if there is something better and an easy user interface
for everyone to input and view.

I'm really confused, I'm getting messages from different people trying different things.... Can you take a step
back and tell me what we're ultimately trying to accomplish?
At the moment it looks like you're trying to link to images within a recipient's local Dropbox folder from
within Excel, and that won't work — path structures are completely different across platforms; people don't
always install Dropbox in the default locations — and fundamentally is a wrong-headed idea... You're
essentially creating a path to put files onto the boss' computer without his explicit instructions to do so.
