The CEO of Lofiwork will be back to Tokyo from her trip next Tuesday. We need her signatures on the letters. In the meantime, can you let me know the following? I) Occupations of the applicants Can we specific more? Maybe can we put their occupations as "Executive Assistant to Mr Jeffrey Epstein, CEO of J. Epstein & Co. (or whichever company he owns)"? 2) Purpose of invitation I believe Joi has asked Jeffrey if the following works, but I am not sure whether he confirmed or not. Can you confirm if it works, just in case? "Visiting Lofiwork to discuss collaboration on supporting startups interested in launching in Japan as well and bringing Japanese startups to the US. Jeffrey advises a number of investors in the US interested in expanding their investment focus to Japan and will be presenting their interests in addition to his own." 3) Mailing address of your office EFTA00349410 I will send the documents to you by Fedex, when ready. Please let me know the address and phone number of your office. Thank you! Best regards, Mika 2015/04/17 10:43, Lesley Groff -H > 0$ —)1. : Mika and Joi. Mika and I need to juggle my schedule a bit if we're sure that Jeffrey's going to Japan. - Joi On Apr 16, 2015, at 8:04 AM, Lesley Groff > wrote: Hi Mika. I actually booked the hotel and flights through Amex Centurion. They don't provide the paper work we will need. But let me see what I can find out today and will present to Jeffrey Wanted to let you know I have been emailing with the Manager of the Andaz (Ellie) and she has flagged Jeffrey's reservations as VIP! Thank you! Will get back to you soon. Lesley Sent from my iPhone On Apr 16, 2015, at 1:47 AM, Mika Tanaka Nakano < > wrote: Please let me add some idea for tourist visa. Why don't you consult with Amex Centurion? They might be able to introduce you a travel agency which can host their visits as tourism. But you might need to book flights and hotel through that agency. Best, Mika EFTA00349411 2015/04/16 14:32, Mika Tanaka Nakano < > 0).X — lit : Hi Lesley, As you can see on the file with the details of the visa procedure for Russians, which I have downloaded for you, from the Japanese Foreign Ministry site, the procedure for the tourist visa is almost the same as the business visa. The difference is that a Japanese travel agency needs to be a host and issue all those letters and trip schedule, instead of a Japanese company for a business visa. If you can hire a Japanese travel agency somehow for booking their travels, that can be an option. But since we don't know any agency in Japan, we can't help for tourist visa. There's no simple tourist visa for Russians in Japan, unfortunately. Best regards, Mika Mika Tanaka (Ms) Assistant to Joi Ito, Director MIT Media Lab MIT OfficeU Mobile Japan: <procedure-Japanese visa for Russian.pdf> 2015/04/16 11:29, Joi Ito < H OS : Mika can you somehow check? Basically depends on whether these is a simple tourist visa for those countries.
