Nothing leaves its space unless its replacement from artifacto is ready to come in. Jeffrey is being so extremely generous by giving some almost brand new furniture away that the last person we want to trouble with this is him. Therefore the guest apartments (which reflect on him) keep the furniture until the new items are ready to go in and replace the old.
