I showed this to Ike..
awaiting an answer!
Ty did this Eclipse stuff this past year...
ok, Ike says he wants Ty to try out again...
Ike says Henry could try out for sure, but it is an accumulation of the best of all the towns around here and both
will need to work really hard...Henry will need to work on catching, on his left ...etc. It will be a challenge for
sure

ECLIPSE LACROSSE ANNOUNCES FALL 2014 TRYOUT DATES
Eclipse Lacrosse Club is pleased to announce our Fall 2014 tryout dates for teams to compete this
Fall, Winter, and next Summer.
Following a very successful summer campaign in our inaugural year, we are excited to build
upon our Program accomplishments.
This Fall we will be holding tryouts in the following grades: 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021,
2022, 2023, & 2024
Registration for our 2016, 2017, 2018 teams is now open
EFTA00364342
Registratoin for our 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, & 2024 teams will be open in the coming
days.
This year we will continue our 5 different program models, and expand upon each offering.
We will be adding Fall and Winter programming to our calendar which will enable our players to
develop prior• to the Spring (HS or Youth) and Summer (Club) Seasons. We feel very strongly at
Eclipse that it is important to be a multi-sport athlete. Not only does this help our players
develop into better overall athletes through transferable skills and year-round game competition,
it is also something that college coaches look for in recruits. It is because of this that we have
organized our fall and winter programming with other sport schedules in mind. Note: We are
still finalizing a few details regarding our Youth offering, as we wait for final schedules from
other sports to be published completely. We would like to thank all the people who have helped
connect us to different sports leaders over the past 10 days. We still have a few more calls to
make, but hope to have all Eclipse Youth programing published in the coming days.
Here are the programs that we will he offering this Fall / Winter...

summer teams. We will be selecting alternates for our fall teams (to replace players who cannot compete due
to injury, other sports, etc). Coaches at our clinics will be a mix of Eclipse Directors, Eclipse Coaches, and

Team Selection
EFTA00364344
Following tryouts this September we will select our teams which will represent us in the fall, winter, and
summer. Please understand that this will be a completely open tryout and no spots will be guaranteed
for players who were part of our program this past summer.
Tryout Logistics
Each grade will have at least two tryout sessions. The 2018, 2019, and 2020 teams will have three tryout
dates. Following the second session (second session for 2018, 2019, and 2020) the first round of cuts will be
made. Players will be notified via email if they are receiving a call back for a final tryout. Please understand
that we have received over one hundred NEW inquires about our fall tryout dates and dozens of highlight
tapes of players who were not part of our program last year who wish to join us this year. Tryouts will be
extremely competitive and we believe the call back system will allow us to identify the top group of players
and view this group on the last tryout date.
Tryouts will take place this September at both New Canaan HS in New Canaan, CT and at Greens Farms
Academy in Westport, CT.
