the tone of your communications with Epstein generally?
A. My tone was friendly.

Q. Why did you keep communicating with Epstein through your
twenties and early thirties?
A. Iwas -- I did not want to admit what had happened to me.
And I felt that by ceasing communication, I would have to
acknowledge th vents that had taken place and I would have to
say something. I was also fearful of disengaging because I had
witnessed how connected they both were and I was fearful.
Q. Did there come a time when you stopped communicating with
Epstein?
A. Yes.
Q. Approximately when?
