Thank you for your quick response! let me speak with Ike and we will get back to you on what we
wish to do. I know this does not need to happen until windows and doors are installed...

Hi Lesley, The temporary system for the house would include 4 fire/ heat sensors 1 on each floor and 3 motion sensors
with 24hr monitoring. We need an electrical outlet in the basement on 24/7. I can lease it to you for $250 a month or
install a system for $1500.00 plus $560.00 per year for the service. Please call me with any questions at 203-856-2560.

Hi George...please see below regarding Chubb's requirements for an alarm for a new construction house...we look
forward to receiving your quote! Lesley and Ike
EFTA00390397
Hi Barbara,
This is what is usually requested once we go out on a COC appraisal:
Temporary central station fire detection
Your home is under construction and, therefore, vulnerable to numerous sources of fire loss. For
early detection of a fire and quicker fire department response, it is required that a temporary fire
alarm system remain active and connected to a UL (Underwriters
Laboratories) listed central station monitoring company. The system should consist of heat sensors
on each level of the home including the basement, and installed by an alarm company listed with
Underwriters Laboratories.
This temporary fire alarm system is only for the protection of the home against fire while it is under
construction. It does not provide adequate protection for your completed home or
your personal safety. Upon installation of all final interior features it is required that a final system,
utilizing a combination of smoke and heat detectors be installed and activated before you occupy
your home. Smoke detectors should be placed in all living areas
providing one for every 1000 square feet of space. Smoke detectors should also be included in
finished basement areas or unfinished areas that are removed from furnaces or other sources of
smoke. Heat detectors should be placed in all mechanical rooms, kitchens, garages, attic areas and
laundry rooms. Always consult your alarm installer for any
additional needs.
Temporary central station burglary detection with signal continuity, self assessing and self
activation
Your home is under construction and, therefore, vulnerable to acts of theft and vandalism when
unattended. For early detection of an intruder entering the home, it is required that temporary motion
sensors be installed as soon as the home is fully enclosed. The alarm signal activated by these
sensors must be monitored by an UL (Underwriters Laboratories) listed central station. These motion
sensors should be placed in central areas like the main hallways on the first and second floors of
your home.
Upon installation of all final interior features, the installation and activation of a complete
burglar alarm system will be required.

George, when our house is enclosed (with windows and doors) our insurance carrier requires
us to have an alarm on the house...are you familiar with this type of alarm for construction?
EFTA00390398
Once installed we need to supply a certificate of installation to CHubb...Could you provide a
quote for this as well?
Thanks, Lesley
