The issue is that it is a small field and we only play 7 players versus 8 players. I do think that during the winter with holidays and travel it is possible that we will have a few boys each week with conflicts. I know that Ty may have some conflicts because of basketball. He also may have conflict with practice on Friday depending on time since he has basketball at from 6:00 to 7:00 pm. I figure that no matter what day others could have issues. Depending on time of practice on Friday I am also happy to assist lain. I work two miles from the Chelsea piers. I can speak to him about it directly also. So do we pay $215 for practice time and for Game time? That is steep after the fee to for a team also. I will let Milan's mom know we are unfortunately full unless you already have. A few updates for you: We've got a full roster of 12, possibly 13. Just after our Nov 17th scrimmage, Alex Wolter's mom got in touch with me to be added to the team. That makes 3 black team players: Tommy Kurz, Cody Cummins, Alex Wolter. With only one spot open after Alex's addition, I circled back with lain to see what Jamie had decided, and at that point, he said he'd love to join. EFTA00400278 Just minutes after that, Igor reached out to ask if there was still room for Owen. I told him I'd do everything i could to have Owen join us. I've submitted all 13 names and am just waiting to hear from the Director if that's acceptable. Since we had 13 for Travel Fall Soccer, i didn't think that would be too egregious and it would be great to keep as many of our Red Boys together as possible. Do you agree? Iain said he'd be happy to coach and that Friday afternoons work with his schedule. With the majority of the team's feedback accepting lain as our coach, I thought we'd go ahead. By tomorrow i hope to have the exact time, a field contract to sign and any other surprises ironed out. For instance, it was just recently revealed that there's a $215. per hour charge for a field at CP. Nowhere on the website or in any communication was this presented as an additional cost until the Field House Director got in touch with Friday afternoon as our slot. I chalk it up to the pains of dealing with an inaugural program, and although I'm not thrilled to have to surprise team parents with more costs, I hope it still makes our Winter practice/game league feel worthwhile for all.
