I think it may be possible to go into the actual airline website and sign up for an alert to be sent to you but I have never done it and do not know for sure. Something to investigate I suppose. I know when you buy a ticket from say American airlines, they give you an option to sign up for alerts. But like you say we must use Amex centurion to book all flights.
