And it asked them to talk about some of the tactics used in furthering the relationship and developing a dynamic of coercive control. What was significant in particular about this article is not only did they look at coercive control as it applies to childhood sexual abuse, but they also looked at how coercive control, patterns of behavior play out in multiple forms of victimization; trafficking, elder abuse or pimp and sex worker relationships, intimate partner violence, rape, sexual assault, that sort of thing.
