Trivedi for Congress As Manan mentioned in his last email to you. he wanted to be sure you not only had an opportunity to learn about him, but his family as well. With that I wanted to send you an email to introduce myself and give you a broader perspective of our commitment to winning this Pennsylvania 6th congressional race. From the time Manan and I met while we were both in college. I have always known him to be a giving person. I learned about how as a teenager he would volunteer in his home community as an Emergency Responder. When he was still an undergrad and preparing to go to medical school, he decided to join the Navy and serve his country. And after the attacks of 9/11. Manan knew it was time to prepare for service overseas. Manan was one of the first to cross into Iraq as a battalion surgeon with Marines. I think it's because of all that service that has made him appreciate his time with his family and made him such a great father to our daughter. I swear I don't know how he does it: pulling shifts at the hospital and then coming home to spend as much time as he can with Sonia. However. I do know this: Manan is always there for you (I've seen it first-hand). That's the kind of congressman he will be and that's exactly the kind of change we need in Washington. I am hoping that you will consider joining us in this campaign so we can actually bring about that change. We get just as frustrated with how Washington works and it's no surprise the approval rating for Congress is at just 9%. Please get involved with Marian and the campaign today by making a $6 contribution . . . that's all.
