The trade is indicative of someone who is expecting elevated volatility through January. GLD (177.87 +.08%)-Similar to what we had seen during the debt ceiling debate where investors bought way out of the money call spreads in GLD, a customer bought 5,000 of the GLD Sep 200 - 220 call spreads for $0.15. Shares would need to rise 13% over the next two weeks for this EFTA00428704 trade to be profitable.
