The Apple One•Year Limited Warranty is a voluntary manufacturer's warranty. It provides rights separate to rights
provided by consumer law, including but not limited to those relating to non-conforming goods.
As such, the Apple One•Year Limited warranty benefits are in addition to. and not instead of, rights provided by
consumer law.

WHAT IS COVERED BY THIS WARRANTY?
Apple Distribution International of Hollynill Industrial Estate Hollyhil. Cork. Republic of Ireland (ot its successor in title) (*Apple')
warrards the Apple-branded hardware product and accessories contained in the original paricagarg (*Apple Product) against
defects in materials and wcduranshp when used in accordance withApe/es user manuals. technicar specifications and other
Apple Product published gutdelnes for a period of One (I) YEARS from the date of original retail purchase by the end-user
purchase,- (-Warranty Period'). You will be able to receive the remedies available under the One-Year Limited Warranty for you-
Apple product via local Apple service facilities in most pans of the world (please refer to section 'How to obtain warranty
services
In the event of any defect in materials and workmanship, you will be able to drect your claims to Apple even
situations where you purchased the Apple Product from a third party.
Please note: All claims made under the Apple One-Year Limited Warranty will be governed by the terms set out in this
warranty document.
In addition, Apple wit provide you with access to telephone technical support for a period of ninety (90) days from deirtery of the
Apple products.
WHAT IS NOT COVERED BY THIS WARRANTY?
This warranty does not apply to any nonapple branded hardware products or any software, even if packaged or sold with Apple
hardware.
Non-Apple trended products may have the benefit of a manufacturer's warranty, which provides benefits in addition to consumer
law rights - please check your product box and literature for details.
Pease refer to the licensing agreement accompanying the software for details of your rights with respect to the use of software.
You may obtain service p the European Economic Area (EEA) countries and Switzerland without paying any shipping and
handing fees. Outside this region, service options may be limited. If a given service option is not available for the Apple Product
in such country. Apple or its agent shall notify you about any additional shgping and handling charges which may apply before
rendering service. Shipping and handing charges MI not apply p countries where Apple does maintain an Apple Relal Stare or
Apple authorised Service Provider ('RASP') (a 1st of current service locations is provided at locale.apple.cOrntAfen).

This warranty does not apply: (a) to consumable parts, such as batteries or protective coatings that are designed to
diminish over time, unless failure has occurred due to a defect in materials or workmanship: (b) to cosmetic damage.
including but not limited to scratches, dents and broken plastic on ports unless failure has occurred due to a defect in
materials or workmanship: (c) to damage caused by use with a third party component or product that does not meet the
Apple Product's specifications (Apple Product specifications are available at www.apple.com under the technical
specifications for each product and also available in stores): Id) to damage caused by accident_ abuse. misuse, fire,
earthquake or other external cause: (e) to damage caused by operating the Apple Product outside the user manual, the
technical specifications or other Apple Product published guidelines: (f) to damage caused by service (including
upgrades and expansions) performed by anyone who is not a representative of Apple or an Apple Authorised Service
Provider ("AASP--): Ig) to an Apple Product that has been modified to alter functionality or capability without the written
permission of Apple: (h) to defects caused by normal wear and tear or otherwise due to the normal ageing of the Apple

information from relevant public authorities that the product has been stolen or if you are unable to

IMPORTANT RESTRICTION.
Apple may restrict warranty service for Apple Watch and Apple TV to countries where Apple or its Authorised Retailers
sell the device.
With regard to iPad devices with cellular coverage and iPhone devices, the warranty provides service coverage the
European Economic Area (EEA) countries and Switzerland. Outside this region. service options may be limited due to
technical issues outside of Apple control - for information relating to iPad devices with cellular coverage and iPhone

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
IF YOUR APPLE PRODUCT IS CAPABLE OF STORING SOFTWARE PROGRAMS, DATA AND OTHER INFORMATION. YOU
SHOULD MAKE PERIODIC BACKUP COPIES OF THE INFORMATION CONTAINED ON YOUR APPLE PRODUCT'S
STORAGE MEDIA TO PROTECT THE CONTENTS AND AS A PRECAUTION AGAINST POSSIBLE OPERATIONAL
FAILURES.
Before submitting your Apple Product for warranty service you should make separate bateaux copy of the contents of its storage

WHAT WILL APPLE DO IN THE EVENT OF A WARRANTY CLAIM?
If during the warranry period you submit a claim during the warranty period this warranty. Apple will. at cs option.
(I) repair the Apple Product using new or previously used pads that are equivalem to new in performance and reliability. or
(ii) replace the App* Product with the same model (or with your consent a product that has sirthar functionality) formed from
new ander previously used pans that are equivalent to new in performance and relablity. or
(lit) refund your purchase price in exchange for the return of your Apple Product.
When a product or past is replaced ce a refund provided. any replacement item becomes your property and the replaced or
refunded item becomes Apples property.
A replacement part or product or a repaired Apple Product assumes the remainng warranty of the original Apple Product or
ninety (90) days from the date of replacement or repair. whichever provides longer coverage for you.
For service requested in a country other than the country of purchase for theApple Product.Apple may repair or replace

Before receiving warranty service. Apple or is agents may require that you furnish proof of purchase details. respond to
questions designed to assist with diagnosing potential issues and follow Apple's procedures for obtaining warranty service. such

WARRANTY SFRV1r•,F OPTION'
Apple wil provide warranty service through one of the fifflowng options.
(i)Cantin service. Apple may request Mal you return your Apple Product lo an Apple Rent or AASP location offering carry-in
service. Your Apple Product may be sent to an Apple Repair Service ('ARS') location to be serviced. Once you are notified that
service is complete. you wil retrieve the Apple Product from the Apple Rent or AASP location without delay unless Apple notifies
you that the Apple Product wit be sent directly to your location from the ARS location.
(ii) Mai-in service. If Apple elects to provide service through its mai-in service.Apple veil send you prepaid waybill and if
applicable. packaging material and instructions on how to properly pack and address your Apple product. so that you may ship
your Apple Product to an ARS or AASP location. Instructions may be sent to you via email or in hard copy with the packaging
material. Once service d complete. the ARS or AMP location will return the Apple Product to you. Apple will pay for shipping to
and from your location if all instrucbons regarding the method of packaging and shipping the Apple Product are followed.
(iii) Dort-yourself (DIY") service. Under DIY service Apple will provide you with a replacement product or easily replaceable
parts or accessories of a product. such as a mouse or keyboard. which can be replaced without using any tools. Mal Apple is
not responsible for any labour costs you incur relating to OtY service. Should you require further assistance with the replacement
contact Apple on the telephone number listed below. or visit an Apple Retail orAASP location If Apple elects to provide service
through DIY service. the foaming process wit &ppd.
(a) Service where Apple requires return of the replaced product. part or accessory: Apple may require a Creda card
allthOfilati3n as security for the retail price of the replacement product. part or accessory and applicable shipping cons.
Apple wit ship a replacement product. pan or accessory to you with instructions for replacement. if applicable. and any
requrements for the return of the replaced product or part. II you follow the instructionsApple will cancel the credit card
authorisation. so you will not be charged for the product or part and shipping to and from your location. If you fail to return
the replaced product_ pad or accessory as instructed or return a replaced product part or accessory that is ineligible for
service.Apphe will charge your credit card for the authorised amount. If you are unable to provide credit cord authorisation.
the service may not be available to you and Apple wit offer alternative arrangements for service.
(b) Service where Apple does not require rear of the replaced product part or accessory: Apple will ship you free of
charge a replacement product pad or accessory accompanied by instructions on installation. if applicable. and any
requinments for the disposal of the replaced product pad or accessory.
IMITATION OF LIAMLFI(
A) Entire agreement:
Other than the consumer lam rights to which you are entitled as set our at the beginning of this document, all warranties,
conditions and other learn not set out in this warranty document ate excluded frown theApple One-Year Limbed Warranty. As a
result. Apple does not make any other promises, conditions or warranties about the service other than sel out in this warranty
document.

Apple does not warrant. represent or undertake that it will be able to repair or replace any Apple Product under this warranty

Apple is not responsible for damage which is not Apples fault or any loss of data. If you are an entrepreneur. Apple is also not
responsible for loss of benefits Of profits. These exclusions shall not apply to (i) death or personal injury. (ii) fraud or gross
negligence: or (ii) fraudulent misrepresentation: or (iv) any other lia0ility that can not be kneed or excluded as a matter of law.

Where the product was purchased in Ireland. this warranty is governed by and construed under the laws of Ireland and each
party hereby submits to the non-exclusive jwisdiction of the Irish courts. Where the product was purchased in the UK. this
warranty is governed by and construed under the laws of England and each party hereby submits to the non-exclusive
jurisdiction of the English corns, unless you live in Scotland in which case the laws of Scotland wit appy

Before receiving warranty service. Apple or IN agents may require that you furnish proof of purchase details. respond to
questons designed to assist wfh dagnosing potential issues and follow Apple's procedures for obtaining warranty service. such
as following instattions for pading and shipping Apple Products when receiving Mai-in service as deserted below.
You will nol need to prove that the nonconformity complained of existed al the date of delivery to obtain service and support
un er the Apple One-Year tended Warranty. unless this would be incompatible with the nature of the non-conformity.
WARRANTY SERVICE OPTIONS
Apple wit provide warranty service through one of tit followng options.
(I) Carty-in service. Apple may request that you relum your Apple Product lo an Apple Relal or MSP location offering carry-in
service. Your Apple Product may be sent to an Apple Repair Service (ARS') location to be serviced. Once you are notified that
service is complete. you wit retrieve the Apple Product from the Apple Retal orAASP location without delay unless Apple notifies
you that the Apple Product w8 be sent directly to your location from the ARS bcabon.
(ii) Maibin service. If Apple elects to provide service through its mai-in service.Apple wit send you prepaid waybills and if
applicable. packaging material and instrudions on how to properly pack and address your Apple product, so that you may ship
your Apple Product to an ARS orAASP location. Instructions may be sent to you via email or in hard copy with the packaging
material. Once service is complete. the ARS or RASP bcabon will return the Apple Product to you. Apple win pay for shipping to
and from your location if all instructions regarding the method of packaging and shipping the Apple Product are followed.
(Ili) Do-ihyourself (DIY") service. Undo DIY service Apple will provide you with a replay:envoi product or easily replaceable
parts or accessories of a product, such as a mouse or keyboard, which can be replaced without using any tools. Note: Apple is
not responsible for any labour costs you incur relating to DIY service. Should you require further assistance with the replacement.
contact Apple on the telephone number listed below, or visit an Apple Retail orAASP location If Apple elects to provide service
through DIY service, the following process wit apiary:
(a) Service whereApple requires return of the replaced product. part or accessory: Apple may requite a credit card
authorisation as security for the retail price of the replacement product. part or accessory and applicable shipping costs.
Apple wR ship a replacement product. part or accessory to you with instrudions for replacement. if applicable. and any
requkements for the relum of the replaced product or part. II you follow the instructions.Apple will cancel the credit card
authorisation. so you will not be charged for the product or part and shipping to and from your location. If you fail to return
the replaced product part ar accessory as instructed or relum a replaced product, part or accessory tent is ineligible for
service.Apple will charge your credit card for the authorised amount. If you are matte to provide credit card authorisation.
the service may not be available to you and Apple wil offer alternative arrangements for service.
lb) Service whereApple does not require return of the replaced product. part or accessory. Apple will ship you free of
charge a replacement product part or accessory accompanied by instructions on installation, if applicable, and any
requkements for the disposal of the replaced product. pan or accessory.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
A) Entire agreement:
Other than the consumer law rights to which you are entitled as set out al the beginning of this document, all warranties.
conditions and other terms not set out in this warranty document are excluded from the Apple One-Year Limbed Warranty. As a
result Apple does not make any other promises. conditions or warranties about the service other than sel oul in this warranty
document.
Some countries do not allow Imitations on how long such warranties, conOtions and:or implied terms may last so the limitation
described above may not apply to you
B) Disclaimer: in relation to data:
Apple does not warrant represent or undertake that it will be able to repair or replace any Apple Product under this warranty
without risk to and for loss of intonation and f or dala stored on the Apple Product.
C) Limitation of liabdity:
Apple ts not responsible for damage which is not Apple's fault or any loss of data. If you are an entrepreneur. Apple is also not
responsible for loss of benefits or profits. These exclusions shall not apply to (i) death or personal injury. (ii) fraud or gross
negligence. or (al fraudulent misrepresentation: or (iv) any other liability that can not be tended or excluded as a matter of law.
GENERAL
No Apple resew, agent or employee is authorised to make any modification. extension or addition to this warranty.
If any term is held to be illegal or unenforceable by force of law, b will be excluded from the warranty and the legality or
enforceability of the remaining terms shall not be affected.
Where the product was purchased in Ireland. this warranty is governed by and construed under the laws of Ireland and each
party hereby submits to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish count Where the product was purchased in the UK, this
warranty is governed by and wormed under the laws of England and each party hereby submits to the non-exclusive
jurisdiction of the English cards. unless you live in Soodand in which case the laws of Scotland wit apply.
