From: Karyna Shuliak To: Bonnie Gamer > Cc: Sandra Garcia Subject: Re: 1-20 Date: Thu, 19 Jul 2012 14:06:32 +0000 Thank you for you e-mail. I will call from a land line in about 30 minutes. To be clear, my previous four years of dental studies were in Belarus, not the U.S. My previous F-I , was associated with my attendance at the Spanish American Institue. I will provide the telephone and contact numbers for the institute as well as all documentation that you require. If you could provide me a list of what you need I will have it brought over immediately, if it is currently in my possession. I have put together a package of the confirmation receipt of my asylum application, a copy of my passport and a copy of the F-1 visa. If you need to see proof of funds, I can also provide. If I understood correctly it appears that you were going on vacation and did not want to begin this until your return. That being said it will be delivered today to you. I hope you enjoy your vacation, and will call soon. Your program is for 3 years, verses 4 years, based on the fact that you have received some transfer credits from your previous study in the U.S. > I waited for your friend to arrive yesterday, but did not hear from him/her. I will be out of the office today after 3:50. If your friend wants to drop off all the information you can provide regarding your request for reinstatement I will begin to review what is presented to me. I will need to talk with you over the phone or in person. I will also need to speak with the staff at international office at your previous school. > Could you please tell me where you most recently studied in the U.S.? > Please call me at 212-305-5455 before 11:00 am if possible. Please also email your phone number to me so that I can contact you if I miss your call. As you are parobably already aware, I am requesting a new I-20, so as to enable me to apply for a reinstatement of my former F -1 visa status. I have been told that you need to see evidence of my current status. I am out of town and can fly back for the day if you so require. However, in the interim I have arranged for someone to bring to you on wednesday the evidence you have requested. The fact is that I have applied for asylum and await a hearing, I am told this will happen in late 2013 at the earliest. I will have delivered to you the I- 589 (asylum application) receipt from Immigration, as well as a copy of my passport and my former F-1 visa. If you would like to set a time to speak, and would email me same, I will call you at any time of your choosing tomorrow, and if you need any additional documents, they can be provided immediately. I sincerely would like to thank you in advance for your attention. Yours truly Karyna. EFTA00539043 > > <b1g12.vcf> EFTA00539044
