Fm thinking a different sculpture or would be better in that space On Jan 18, 2013, at 8:14 PM, Ryan Giunta < > wrote: Thoughts? While meeting at place we discussed the possibility of another spatial drawing for the upstairs window that would be ok in the direct sunlight. The idea is a layered drawing with holes burned in the sheets and no surface treatment, ie charcoal or ink drawn on paper. This piece would consist of the layered sheets of paper with a design of burned holes which would cast circles of light and shadow on the interior walls of stairwell throughout the day as the sun moves across the sky. It could also be lit in an interesting way for night viewing. I have attached a sketch of what it could possibly look like in the window ( the design on the sketch is a generic idea and could be made into whatever shape or image is desired) as well as images of a piece I made a couple years ago that is similar to what I am proposing. Ok if you could please forward this info to that would be great. thanks DAS DAS, EFTA00558896 Great to connect via email, and enjoyed meeting you in person at the gallery. I'm around the condo today and tomorrow (or can be Friday as well) if you have time to install it. Let us know about the mirror, and we'll plan accordingly. You can find my mobile below if it's easier to talk by phone than email. R. an Giunta On Jan 16, 2013, at 3:28 PM, > wrote: That looks great! We will install it there. When would be a good day and time for you to come install? If you could coordinate with Ryan on this who is copied here. still wants to entertain the idea of putting a minor behind it on the wall, so if there is as way to mount this to have the screws flush with the wall so we can mount a mirror if wanted later. Thank you! On Jan 16, 2013, at 2:21 PM, Hey guys, wrote: I've drawn the skull onto a picture of the wall where the minor is and I think this is a better approach than installing it in the window niche. The skull is more approachable and can be better appreciated on the wall. I've also played around with having the mirror option in the back and it looks fine but not necessary. Installing it on the wall would be quick & easy and if you want to change it up, it would be a lot less hassle to remove it as opposed to installing it in the window. Please let me know your thoughts and ideas! Thanks, DAS Original Message From: 1 11 To: Cc: 'd Sent: Wed, 09 Jan 2013 16:22:16 -0500 Subject: EFTA00558897 Re: Payment Receipt - PayPal.pdf Great! I am fully booked on Friday. Let me know if that works, thanks! DAS Hi David! Tomorrow or Friday would be good for us to have you come look at the space. Do either of those days work? And what time is good for you? On Jan I, 2013, at 1:50 PM, Hey wrote: We're finally back and working in Senaspace again. When you get a chance, please contact me so we can sit down and arrange delivery/installation of the skull piece. Also, if I can come and take a look at the space, I can get a better idea of where it would look best. Let me know what day is good for you! DAS Ryan told me he met you with another one of our friends.. it's a EFTA00558898 small world! We are currently out of town, but may be back midweek for a few days. We are still trying to sort out the best spot to display the work. Is it OK to keep it in your gallery until we know where we want to put it? I am going out of town myself on December 25th so wanted to see if you guys were in town this week...? DAS Original Message From: el To: U Cc: Sent: Mon, 10 Dec 2012 13:25:21 -0500 Subject: Re: Payment Receipt - PayPal.pdf no problem on keeping it up for the grand opening. I will be in town till Friday, so maybe we can meet Thursday some time to go over install options. The area we are thinking of is in a stairway in front of a EFTA00558899 window which gets direct sunlight and can get very hot during the summer. I'm not sure if that's the best spot? Not sure how the piece will hold up again the sun and heat. What do you think? On Dec 7, 2012, at 12:29 PM, wrote: Hi Thank you very much for your payment! Let's talk on Monday if you are back then and will figure out when me and my assistant can install your piece. I am very busy with the grand opening on Weds so I wanted to ask if we can do it afterwards. Also do you mind if we leave the drawing up in the window for the opening? If not please let me know and I will take it down beforehand and put another piece up. Ok look forward to seeing it in your home and thanks again. ;) DAS Hi David. Please find attached payment confirm for the skull artwork. EFTA00558900 Will touch base next week regarding meeting for delivery and install.
