He didnt give an exact breakdown, I am waiting to here from Austin as to whether their breakdown from last yr was similar to our exam. I will post the breakdown if it is similar. I. There will be 50 questions 2. we went through every lecture that Dr. Salentijn had as optional and they are ALL not covered on the exam. So, they were indeed optional and we don not have to know them. 3. There will be some neuro anatomy questions, he said about 5-6 questions. There will be pictures on the exam, MRI's etc. 4. Today's lecture given only to the dental students in Al on neuro anatomy, will mostly not be covered on this exam but on neuro exam 2. So there may be (eh) one question from today's neuro anatomy lecture, but probably not. 5. Most cranial nerve stuff will be on next exam, but some will be covered on this exam like things covered in lecture such as taste, etc. 6. For lectures which have 5 slides, know the synopsis. He said questions will come from there and not just off the slides. 7. Major stuff that we should know: Local Anesthetics, Pain, Analgesics 8. Someone asked about the MM lectures we were supposed to review from last year, he wont ask specific questions from those lectures, i.e. you could use them as an aid in understanding the current neuro lectures but he wont be taking questions from Gershon's slides. 9. Brain Imaging form lecture 7 WILL be on the exam. 10. He said, since there were very few lectures, he asked questions from EVERY lecture.
