From: To: JEEPROJECT@YAHOO.COM Cc: " " Subject: Fwd: Black Fin Boat Images one Date: Sat, 09 Oct 2004 18:40:48 +0000 besides a shinny finish on gell coat, Boat has a lot of salt damage on stainless and aluminum parts. I think Miles really would like this boat for touring Isands...and would be a good match for Yamaha 250 engines...this would also save on shipping the engines to Palm beach. would not be worth the $7,500.00 or so dollars to ship to boat Palm beach I was not impressed with beam size or length for a Sport Fishing style boat... The Silverton in PBI that sank was 34 feet with a 13 foot beam. your thoughts Larry Return-Path: Received: from rly-yh04.mx.aol.com (rly-yh04.mail.aol.com [172.18.180.68]) by air- yh01.mail.aol.com (v101_r1.4) with ESMTP id MAILINYH12-2bd41686415c8; Sat, 09 Oct 2004 18:20:30 -0400 Received: from web21325.mail.yahoo.com (web21325.mail.yahoo.com [216.136.175.211]) by rly-yh04.mx.aol.com (v101_r1.5) with ESMTP id MAILRELAYINYH41- 2bd41686415c8; Sat, 09 Oct 2004 18:20:05 -0400 Message-ID: <20041009222004.64803.qmail@web21325.mail.yahoo.com> Received: from [65.38.204.98] by web21325.mail.yahoo.com via HTTP; Sat, 09 Oct 2004 15:20:04 PDT Date: Sat, 9 Oct 2004 15:20:04 -0700 (PDT) From: "Miles Alexander, LSJ" Subject: Black Fin Boat Images one To: Larry Visoski , Jeffery E Epstein MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: multipart/mixed; boundary="0-998319890- 1097360404=:63728" X-AOL-IP: 216.136.175.211 X-Mailer: Unknown (No Version) Greetings Attached are images of the boat. Bruce met with the owner today and reports as follows: The hull was built in 1987 The boat is 29 feet long excluding anchor bowsprit with a 10 foot beam. The boat was partially submerged. The boat was completely rewired with new equipment, batteries etc installed. Cost of $16000.00 to redo. Engine controls are in good working order. All fittings such as cushions, covers, seats fishing gear have been removed for storage but are included in the sale. The boat looks in very good condition, gell coat is good, interior is good. Teak wood needs to be sanded and oiled. The boat needs to be cleaned out and washed down. Currently it is full of yard dust and workers rubble from the electrical refit. The boat is known to have a good ride that is dry. The engines should bolt straight on. All controls are in place. In theory this should be easy but it never is with boats!! Asking price is $40000.00 firm. I am not sure how much manouvering we will have as the owner has spent a great deal of money on improvements. I think that this boat will be ideal for short runs to St Thomas and around the islands, it has covered areas for storage, possible overnight facilities and has a reasonalbe aft deck to accommodate larger items. With minimum cost I believe that this boat could easily be put into service.
