Originally we had proposed increasing the old monitors from 15- CRTs to lir LCDs. Now that they are installed. both Richard and I feel a better look and operation of the room would be to increase the size to the maximum supported in a rack. This would be 20". Richard would also like to have one more monitor for the cameras. The cameras and DVR would use one type of monitor: the 2 PC would use a different one. Please feel free to call if you have any questions. Sincerely. Tom Callahan President. The main focus of this proposal is the replacement and upgrade of the CCTV Monitor Command Center. We plan to install a modular Winstead Rack that will be configured for (11) Monitor ports. Eight of these will be utilized for the cameras, and the existing "Quad" processors will be re-used to feed these monitors. Two bays will be used to house the computer monitors while the last bay will be used for housekeeping items for shelving and organizing the Command Center. The Winstead rack we are proposing will have work surface shelves, storage drawers and a clean wrapped surface. This type of rack is more institutional looking and we would recommend that a carpenter "wrap" the console with more appropriate finishes. Typically the top surface would be finished with a stone or laminated counter while the sides would tend to be skinned with finishes to match the room'sdecor. The actual footprint of the Winstead Console is also different than the existing structure, so we would recommend replacing the carpeting as well as part of this process. In addition to upgrading the Command Center's physical structure we will also be installing new LCD flat screen monitors for viewing the cameras. Sawyers has included pricing in our proposal for upgrading numerous IR illuminated bullet cameras located throughout the residence. We plan to change (4) Interior Bullet Cameras, (4) Exterior Bullet Cameras and (2) Foyer Cameras. The existing PancTiltiZoom exterior camera has been "fogging" from water seepage around the seals and we are recommending replacing that unit as well. All of the new cameras will rout to a new Intellex Digital Video Recorder with a 500 gig storage drive that will maintain a record of the images for about 3 weeks. This project will disrupt the existing Command Center for approximately I week. Sawyers will have a crew on-site to dismantle and remove the existing structure and then to re-build the new system. We plan to complete the Command Center conversion, then switch to changing out the field cameras within the residence. When we arc complete, you will have a completely upgraded camera system with new viewing monitors, recorders, and field cameras. Please feel free to call if you have any questions, or would like to proceed with the project. Sincerely. Tom Callahan President.
