Stanley, NM Re: Updated Pricing for Windows and Glass Doors at Main House Dear Brice, As per our earlier discussion, BiltBest is having an anniversary sale that ends December 31, 107. You can save $ 45,000.00 if the windows are purchased prior to the end of this year. After Jan. l' 2008, that discount will no longer be available. You will also receive an additional $11,000.00 discount if the windows are pre-paid in full. The windows can be painted at the factory and the additional amount is reflected in the breakdown listed below. A wire transfer is required for the payment on this transaction. All other billing is listed below. The scope of work remains the same and is as follows • Demolition of stucco around every window and door to be replaced. Demolition of 2"x6" detail around all the windows and doors is to be removed for the proper reinstallation of the units as well as window wrap, which is a vapor barrier that is to be installed on top of the window flanges and overlapping onto the building structure as a preventative measure to block out moisture and air. Demolition of all pm-existing windows and doors will be carefully removed and saved for possible reinstallation. Removal of approximately 6" of drywall around the interior side of window/door. • Installation of all windows and doors in a wave type fashion, meaning that the project will be on a room-by-room/ hallway basis. **Each room should be cleared of all pictures, valuables, and/or furniture near window and door areas. Installation will take place from the interior and exterior of the opening. 3B's LLC will provide all means EFTA00595223 necessary to install upstairs units, such as scaffolding and/or any mechanical equipment needed to insure safety and accuracy. • Re-install all wooden trim, old or new; drywall and/or tile. Tile areas could be subject to a field change modification should a match be unavailable. The details of such a Change Order, if necessary, will be agreed upon both Brice and 3B's LLC, • Replacement of stucco will be coordinated with 3 B's LLC. • Billing - Invoices will be submitted by the 25th of each month and are due within ten days of receipt. • Schedule — The windows will take approximately 8-12 weeks to be delivered following receipt of payment. The job will take approximately (4) four months to complete and a more detailed schedule will be submitted by the end of January 2008. We will make every effort to complete the project in a timely manner but we are at the mercy of the weather and will request extended time if delayed by weather. The request for additional time will be submitted to Brice for approval. indow and door warranties can expire if they are not installed and then left exposed to the elements. Bid includes labor, material, equipment, and insurance necessary to complete the above referenced project. This bid excludes all painting (except factory window frame painting), caulking, and/or staining of any kind on windows, door, or trim. If you decide to take advantage of this discount, the windows can be stored safely until installation. If your hangar is not available we will make arrangements for storage. Of course we will make sure as to not void the warranty and store the windows away from the elements.
