New United Goderich Inc. will perform the following general tasks: 1.1 AIRCRAFT ARRIVAL Perform incoming inspection of the aircraft exterior paying particular attention to the windows, flight controls, exterior skins and fuel leaks. The observations/discrepancies will be noted and provided to the Customer. The Customer may authorize New United Goderich Inc. to perform the work as an Additional Work Request. 1.2 AIRCRAFT STRIPPING The aircraft exterior will be stripped using an approved paint stripper and washed/rinsed with clean water. 1.3 SANDING The aircraft will be sanded and/or re-stripped as required to remove paint or primer residue not removed by the initial stripping. 1.4 COMPOSITES Composite parts are carefully hand sanded as required. Flexible fill primer, anti-static paint and epoxy primer will be applied as required. NOTE: Sanding/cleaning the composites will be quoted additionally on a time and material basis, upon initial paint thickness check. The Customer will be notified of any required composite New United Goderich Inc. CONFIDENTIAL Page 1 of 5 EFTA00595659 repairs and/or substrate damage and be charged on a time and material basis. The Customer will be notified of any change in delivery date due to additional composite work. 1.5 EXTERIOR INSPECTION Upon completion of the paint stripping and sanding activities, New United Goderich Inc. will perform a detailed inspection of the exterior area to be painted, paying particular attention to corrosion, scratches, wire mesh damage, etc. the observation/discrepancies will be noted and provided to the Customer. The Customer may authorize New United Goderich Inc. to perform the work as an Additional Work Request. NOTE: Lightning diverter strips are delicate and subsequent damage can occur during strip and sanding activities. While we always work carefully to avoid the issue we must consider the reality. Therefore, any damage discovered to the strips during the painting process will be charged extra. Pricing does not include cosmetic filling of minor dents. An evaluation will be completed post strip, and the Customer will be provided with an Additional Work Request for approval of fill if dents are found. 1.6 CONVERSION COATING Conversion coatings (i.e. chemical etching and alodining) will be applied to the aircraft exterior aluminum surfaces. 1.7 PRIMER & TOP COAT APPLICATION The aircraft exterior shall be prepared and painted using one (1) coat of polyurethane compatible epoxy primer, three (3) coats of one (1) base metallic colour and two (2) coats of clear coat of the entire aircraft 1.8 GENERAL REQUIREMENTS The following general requirements, as applicable, will be completed. • Exterior placards and registration markings; • New operational exterior placards will be installed as per aircraft arrival. If placards are required as outlined in the aircraft manuals the work will be charged extra based on time and materials. Standard registration markings will be painted on; • Aerodynamic sealant on all leading edges, emergency wing and ice lights, and the forward edge of the engine cowl; • Anti-static paint will be applied on applicable composite panels; • Flight controls will be removed as required. They will be balance checked prior to installation. Any balancing adjustments will be charged extra; • The aircraft maintenance release will be in accordance with the applicable regulatory requirements. New United Goderich Inc. CONFIDENTIAL Page 2 of 5 EFTA00595660 1.9 OPTIONAL ITEMS The following are a list of additional items some Customers requires to be accomplished. Should you desire any of these items, let me know and we will complete the below additional items upon request. • Repaint the main entrance and baggage door frames Included • Repaint the entrance steps/stairs Included • Polish the existing metal surfaces TBD • Nose erosion boot will be applied to the radome Included • RVSM skin mapping Included NOTE: Price is subject to change pending New United Goderich Inc.'s review of the paint scheme. Price does not include any aircraft specific requirements whether mandatory or not for painting (example: SB mod status, AOA placarding, etc. unknown at the time of quoting). Any specialized tooling required to be rented will be charged extra. Price includes chemical removal of existing exterior coating. Additional stripping or sanding charges may apply if existing exterior coating is more than 12 mils thick, or where paint cannot be removed by standard chemical means. Paint will be measured on the induction to determine if additional charges will apply. 2 ADDITIONAL WORK REQUESTS New United Goderich Inc. may be required to perform additional work for the customer. New United Goderich Inc. will provide the Customer with an Additional Work Request for the Customer's review prior to proceeding with the work. Labour Rate: $85.00/Hour NOTE: Any parts or materials to be shipped to New United Goderich Inc. either directly from the Customer or from the Customer's vendor will require advance notice to the Customer Service Representative in order to ensure appropriate brokerage and receiving policies are completed. 3 PAYMENT TERMS • New United Goderich Inc. requires a non-refundable $5,000.00 (five thousand dollar) booking fee for a refurbishment slot. • When the aircraft is dropped off for the refurbishment New United Goderich Inc. requires an additional 50% (fifty percent) deposit. • Prior to the aircraft leaving New United Goderich Inc.'s facility the total invoice is due in full by a confirmed wire transfer or bank draft. New United Goderich Inc. CONFIDENTIAL Page 3 of 5 EFTA00595661 4 SCHEDULE We can accept the aircraft for input May 24, 2017 the entire workscope would take approximately 28 calendar days to complete. There is a possibility that the return to service date could change contingent upon any additional work requested or discrepancies found post aircraft arrival. 5 ONE YEAR WARRANTY New United Goderich Inc. is a full SMS compliant and approved company that is committed to continuous improvement. While we always strive to delivery, a "100% Customer satisfaction" product we recognize that there is a risk that through material or process defect our product may not perform as we promised or as one might expect. Our commitment to you, our Customer is as follows: 1. We will review any and all defects reported during the one year period in order to determine the reasonable cause. 2. If the cause is, or can be shown to have been caused by material defect, labour or from carelessness, or improper procedure we warrant that we will repair at our discretion the affected area or component at our cost subject to Paragraph 3. 3. New United Goderich Inc. must endeavour to provide its services in a competitive nature within the market place we live in. It is not feasible or common in our industry to provide any compensation for costs arising from missed flights, aircraft relocation, overhead expenses, crew costs, alternative means of transportation, ancillary costs in general that may be directly or indirectly attributed to warranty, delays or rework completed by other shops. Therefore we reserve the right to fulfill our obligation in Paragraph 2 under the following terms and conditions. a) The aircraft to be returned to our facility to complete any repairs. b) Prior approval in writing required prior to any other means of fulfilling our contract. c) No alternate means of satisfying our obligation will be agreed to, after the fact. d) Only equivalent or better materials, processes products, etc. will be utilized in rework. e) We will provide an explanation of the cause and how the solution will prevent reoccurrence. f) Our warranty does not extend to subsequent events, occurrences or damages resulting from any determined defect in materials, products or workmanship, other than those held enforceable by a court of law or that which our hangar-keeper insurance policy covers. g) Our warranty does not extend to cover wear and tear, chipping, scratching, tearing or other common issues related to age, use or harsh environment. h) At our discretion and wholly or decision, we may authorize other means to satisfy our obligation in pursuit of your 100% satisfaction. Finally, we extend a handshake and promise to assure you that we will do or act as we would hope we would be treated under similar circumstances and further that our integrity and reputation has New United Goderich Inc. Customer grants New United Goderich Inc. the right to take photographs and/or video of the interior and exterior of their aircraft. New United Goderich Inc. is authorized to copyright, use and publish the photographs and/or video in print and/or electronically and will make commercially reasonable efforts to not name the company or show any identifying information.
