OK Talked to the plant this afternoon They can not make one ( 1 ) bumper in gray
, with gray resin/foam....I takes a drum of resin to fill the chambers of the pump/machine...So they will not do
it....
But they can spray in a gray top coat and shoot it with black material ....the top coat secures ist self to the
foam... it becomes one member.
So the best they can do is spray in a top coat and then inject the black behind it. So the best I can do is send
one black and one gray bumper.
Tell me what you want to do. Michael

Our Principal is currently off-island, but DEFINITELY wants these samples installed before his return in
9 days, if humanly possible.
We propose that you choose a grey, your most popular grey, and see if your chemist can make a sample
for us - since we are so pressed for time.
We do have a Sherwin Williams store here on St. Thomas, so we will obtain samples and have them
ready for our Principal's review on his return, just in case he does not like the shade of grey on the
sample.
We really believe at this point, to be most efficient, we will need to trust our instincts and your
experience.
Please advise, Daphne

OK Daphne It is impossible to make one gray bumper
in our injection mold machine.... we
normally will make at least one drum runs, which is 65 bumpers per drum apps; Let me see if we can
have our chemist make a 5 gal pain of what we call a ( hand batch mix ) slow cream foam rise to be
poured manually in to our mold to get you a sample of gray. Get me a code # it can also be a ( Sher
Williams Co ) paint chart number Mike
I have only gotten one call from Carlos and that was yesterday !

Greetings Michael,
Thank you for the research and information you have provided us regarding your fenders and their
performance.
Our Principal would like to now order one of the grey fenders and one of the black fenders. Carlos
will install and he will then make his decision.
Because of the enormity of the project, our Principal decided to not rush his decision.
Carlos says he has been trying since last week to get in touch with you, and has left several
messages. I know you are very busy, but we would greatly appreciate you sending us an invoice for
one each of the black and grey fenders, of the size that Carlos has discussed with you previously that
he would need, so we can make the order today.

We will also ask if you can arrange delivery to us on St. Thomas via Federal Express, if this is
possible.
We have an account with FedEx, so that charge would be on us, we would just need to to make the
arrangements for pick up on your end.
Thank you again for your assistance and we will wait to hear from you, Daphne
