Fatah justified Idris' suicide bombing as a "response" to Israel's killing of another of Fatah's "heroes" - terrorist Raed Al-Karmi - a week earlier. Al-Karmi murdered 3 Israelis and planned the murder of 6 additional Israelis in 2001 and 2002. [Official Fatah Facebook page, Jan. 12, 2017] In one very long post, Fatah described Al-Karmi's life and noted that he "loved" to play the game "Jews and Arabs," pretending to kill the "treacherous Jew": "He loved the game 'Jews and Arabs,' a game that children of the neighborhood would play. He always played the role of the Arab who, with his simple weapon, attacked the treacherous Jew who occupied his homeland and settled in it..." [Official Fatah Facebook page, Jan. 14, 2017] Fatah emphasized with pride that "fear began to permeate the ranks of the occupation army when Al-Karmi succeeded in killing approximately 12 Israeli soldiers and civilians (sic., 9)." The post noted that Israel's killing of Al-Karmi led to numerous additional Palestinian attacks against Israelis, among them Wafa Idris' suicide bombing "that sowed fear among the sons of Zion," and the suicide bombing at a Bat Mitzvah celebration in a hotel - "a quality Martyrdom-seeking operation in one of the halls of joy, [which] turned it into a hall of sadness." It is Fatah's policy to glorify terrorist murderers. For example, a Fatah video honored several suicide bombers including Wafa Idris. Official PA TV has also honored the suicide bomber. Wafa Idris - The first Palestinian female suicide bomber. Belonging to Fatah, she blew herself up on Jaffa Road in central Jerusalem on Jan. 27, 2002, killing 1 and wounding over 100. As a volunteer for the Palestinian Red Crescent she was able to bypass Israeli security and enter Jerusalem in a Palestinian ambulance. Hassouna was shot to death by Israeli police arriving at the scene. Sa7d Ramadan - Palestinian terrorist from Fatah's military wing the Al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades who shot and killed 2 Israelis, Sara Hamburger and Ora Sandler, on Jaffa Street in Jerusalem and wounded dozens on Jan. 22, 2002. Ramadan was shot and killed by Israeli police arriving at the scene. Muhammad Al-Qasir belonged to the terror organization the Al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades (Fatah's military wing). He shot Israeli civilian Ahuva Amargi to death at the Kissufim checkpoint (Gaza Strip) on Feb. 18, 2002. An Israeli military force that was dispatched to the area of the attack opened fire on Al-Qasir and the bomb he had on detonated, killing 2 Israeli soldiers, Mor Elraz and Amir Mansouri and wounding 3. Ayman Joudeh - Palestinian terrorist from the AI-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades (Fatah's military wing) who opened fire on the Erez crossing between Israel and the Gaza Strip, murdering Israeli border policeman Uriel Bar-Maimon on April 20, 2002. Joudeh was shot and killed by other border policemen at the scene. Muhammad Al-Qattawi - terrorist from the Al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades (Fatah's military wing) who infiltrated the Jewish town of Netzarim inside the Gaza Strip and committed a shooting attack on March 10, 2002. Al-Qattawi shot and killed Israeli soldier Kobi Eichelboim and wounded the town's security officer before being shot and killed by Israeli soldiers who were at the scene.
