How do sociopaths feel about their own children? Are they
able to bond?

My turn. I am a sociopath....married 15 years with two older children who
are....shockerl
fine and with a fairly normal childhood. My son is into WWE
wrestling and my daughter adores beads, ponies, and exploring for various
rocks and nuts. I have NEVER raised a hand at my children. I was raped,
tortured, abused, and the proxy in Miinchausen syndrome by my mother. The
only people I fiercely protect A... Read More »

When I was 5 years old I stole a candle from a grocery store. The candle was
the number "7," like for a kid's birthday cake. I had asked my mom to buy it
for me; she told me "No," but when she wasn't looking I slipped it into a
pocket of my vest.
When we got home my mom discovered the candle and told my dad. My dad
told me to get in his truck, and we drove back to the store with the candle.

I'm a manager at Google. On Thursday one of my reports got in at n:25. At
11:34) someone said, "who wants to get lunch?" We looked at him and everyone
laughed. Then we got lunch. Nobody cares. The impact that you have is all that
matters. If your impact isn't good then it's a different story. Also I'm in
engineering, not sure how this applies elsewhere, and I'm sure even in
engineering there are... Read More »

I once asked a black friend of mine why she gave her daughter one of those
obviously black names that so many people find off-putting. She said it would
alert landlords and potential employers and spare her daughter the pain of
going to see apartments that had "just been rented" before she showed up. Or
going to job interviews where she'd never be hired. That's the kind of thing
that doesn't occ... Read More »

I see two really big problems here. You wanted the day off and had to fabricate
a death to get a single day off because your employer would not settle for the
reason "I'm horribly exhausted".
Not enough info to give a square answer, so I am going to assume on or more
of the following is true:
O You perpetually take time off beyond what your company has allowed you,
now you have to come up w... React More »

Updated Dec 23, AY,
This is not official and may not be true, but I have some confidence in the
credibility of the sources. What I heard when I was a student is that the way it
works isn't that you "pay your way to get in" but rather that families that make
a large enough donation to the university (cutoff I heard was $600,000) get
their child to go through a special track where they first meet with the senior

As a former front desk agent at Caesar's Palace, I used to shake my head in
amazement when I would check in either a very nice couple or a cocky,
arrogant person who asked me if any upgrades were available, especially if we
were a few hours into my shift. With well over i,000 checkins in a day, the
guest checking in must have believed that they were the one and only guest

The best one: So, to set the stage, Trump spends most of the night sputtering
and taking every single bit of personal bait thrown at him. He talks about job
creation but then quickly pivots to talk about how his father didn't lend him
that much money and really, just a small percent of what he'd earn later, let

Let me tell you about a dose friend of mine, who was the top student at his
