Boyson says they can do the job. Better Roads outlined their need for 5-6 truckloads of asphalt per day, plus operating equipment. Due to the shallow draft (8 feet possibly at high tide) and the immense weight of 5-6 truckloads at a time (50,000-60,000 pounds), they will have to work out a schedule of 2-3 truckloads per run. Better Roads says they are planning on the beginning of August for the start of the project, once you have reviewed and approved the schedule, contract, etc. I have asked Better Roads to come up with a schedule and timeline that they can present to Boyson on Monday, July 14.
