Unfortunately Leon did not want to sign anything until he spoke with you on Friday-September 51h (when you are planning to meet). This poses a problem if we are to coordinate the annuity payment dates for GRAT No. 5 with the other GRATs. To do that Leon needs to sign the new GRAT document by tomorrow (it has to be signed in the presence of a Notary Public) so it can be funded on September 4th. Attached is a copy of the new agreement. Heather left the execution copy with Melanie, tabbed for Leon's signature. Would you be able to call or email Leon with your approval to sign? Thanks in advance. Assignment Agreement for funding APO1 GRAT No. 5 To execute the documents, please print one copy of each of the Assignment Agreements and three copies of the GRAT Agreement. In connection with the Assignment Agreements for the annuity payments (the first three documents listed), we have left blanks for the cash distribution amounts. Please pen in the cash distribution amounts at the top of page two on each of these Assignment Agreements. Please arrange for Leon to sign each agreement where indicated. Each copy of the GRAT Agreement should be signed in the presence of a notary, who also should sign where indicated. Please note that we have inserted the date of September 3rd as the date of the GRAT Agreement and the Assignment Agreement funding the new GRAT.
