We have attached to this email the following items in preparation of your visit: I) Because this is a fast-paced and highly interactive event, please find two PDF files that contain lengthier biographies of our behavioral science experts and media participants to help introduce you to their EFTA00659375 work. The sessions will be 90% Q&A, so we hope that you'll review these materials and think about questions! 2) The most-up-to date schedule, which includes information on our new lunchtime panel: Three journalists -- Michael Freedman (Stanford GSB), Adam Rogers (Wired) and Somini Sengupta (NYT), will engage in a session moderated by Carlin Romano (Chronicle of Higher Education) that explores Behavioral Sciences and the Media, discussing topics such as the benefits and perils of "bite-sized" science. A buffet lunch will be served to participants. Because space is limited in this session, please let us know at if you would like to attend. 3) An area map and instructions for parking or car service drop off areas, which will help you locate our event on Stanford campus. 4) We are pleased to announce that our Summit sponsor IRON Solutions will host a post-Summit dinner (Friday June 29, 2012 from 7pm-1 0pm). Guests will have time to digest ideas and continue conversations started at the Summit: Zibibbo 430 Kipling Street Palo Alto, CA 94301 For guests staying at the Stanford Park Hotel we will be providing shuttle service to the dinner and back to the hotel. 5) We look forward to engaging with you in person and digitally (before, during, and after the CASBS 2012 Summit). The ideas and content presented and discussed at our Summit will be rich and deserve further discussion. To that end, we invite you to our CASBS Stanford Linkedln page and will ask whether you would like to join our invitation-only Linkedln CASBS 2012 Summit Group where you can share questions, thought pieces/blogs, and discuss with other group members. We will use both twitter and Linkedln to keep participants updated about changes to the schedule and about interesting resources, so please follow us on twitter, too.
