Jim McCann is showing a young couple with two kids around. They are looking at lakefronts mostly asking in the teens. They
have got the kids into Benjamin and are moving to PB but dont live here now. He is in the financial industry - as they say. They
dont want to do work. I haven( asked for the name. They are looking at the house acrosds from Joel on Via Bellaria which has
asked as high as $24 but which is now talked about at $14. It is a deco Fatio that needs a lot of work. They are excited to see
it from the pies but are going to see it in person this morning.
Since they like the looks of that house (white and sleek) but dont want to do work, it occurs to me that they'd like El Brillo. If
you are interested, I could suggest to Jim that they look at El Brillo. I havent said you'd be interested.
There has been a lot of action lately in lakefronts. Moens sold Schur on 125 ft at 1090 N Lake Way yesterday for $12.375.
Vecellio sold his mock French tudor on Via del Mar for $9.64. Pelican Lane is under contract for $9ish and 181 Clarendon was
under for $10ish but fell apart this morning.
Also Schlesinger at 801 S County closed at $'16.8 but Richard Schlesinger is saying the real price was $20 after backing out
commissions and some furnishings.
If you are at all interested I could approach McCann and find out who they are before you decide. I do not want to even start
down the path unless you'd consider it.
