I like the term non-local reality. I use genetic memory as a mechanism for transfer of knowledge along with physical characteristics because there is so much room on DNA. As Church's work at Harvard shows a tiny speck of DNA can hold the whole library of congress. But I am open to other mechanisms as well. I have come to the conclusion it is not the 'autism' that has produced the non-verbal state in these persons; But rather there is marked motor impairment in the vocal mechanism (which involves a complex interactin of various cranial nerves) rather than faulty autistic wiring. Whatever the mechanism, these are persons, like savants, who often knnow things they never learned. Maybe they do have a contact with non-local reality.
