From: Ann Rodriquez < To: Jeffrey <jeevacation@gmail.com> Subject: Fwd: Sierra at Camp Frontier Date: Thu, 14 Jul 2016 21:03:24 +0000 Ann R. Begin forwarded message: From: "Brian Collar, Camp Director, Camp Frontier" Date: Jul 7, 2016 at 12:06:25 PM AST To: Cc: ' , programdirector Subject: Sierra at Camp Frontier Anne I regret to inform you that I have reached the decision that must leave Camp Frontier today. There have been numerous serious issues over her time with us and they continue. As per our proceedures an incident report has been created for many of them and will be forwarded to you upon request. Of the more serious problems (violence, threats, dossobedience, extreme disrespect, et al), any one would be enouph for me to consider expulsion. As all the the above have occured and on many occasions, I have a greater responsibility to protect my other campers from her. We have an outstanding staff who have worked for 12 days to help her to adjust to camp and to corect her behavior. I am convinced now that she will not improve. When even the emails I requested you send from home do not work we have no other option. Even our Camp Director/Administrator, Dianne, has spent many hours working with her with no results as have the Camp Life Director, Counselors and Cabin Director. has had some issues too but seems to be following lead. is on warning but May remain at camp as long s no other issues arrise and she continues to improve. The unused four week tuition will not be refunded due to her expulsoon, as you are aware. This ammount can be held on credit for for next summer provided that she successfully completes her time with us this summer. I must request that 4e picked up today. Please inform me as to the time and name of the person comming to camp. We will have her ready for check out at the infirmary. She will be informed of my devision shortly and moved to the infirmary so as to minimize issues with other campers and staff. I sincerely wish there was another solution but my responisibility to the other 70 plus childen and staff is now greater. With over twenty years experience in youth camps and education, it is rare that a pronlem child can not be reached. Incase, I'm afraid thrre is no possibility here at camp. I wish you all the best. At the point, all communication is to be with me directly. I look forward to your reply. - Brian Collar, Camp Director Sent from my Vcrizon, Samsung Galaxy Tablet EFTA00667833
