We may in the 19th century have fought wars on land and sea and in the 20th century moved to the air. but in the 21st wars will be increasingly fought in cyberspace.' These are the words of Hillary Clinton when she was in the UK last weekend. She warned that the Kremlin is using the internet to foment trouble, fanning the flames of nationalism and populism, with the aim of breaking up the European Union and Nato. The threat of cyber warfare is not only coming from Russia. Just this week Iran was blamed for a 'brute force' cyber attack on Parliament that compromised MP's email accounts. And then there's terrorism: Isis are becoming ever more proficient at weaponising the internet in their propaganda war against the infidel. To discuss the threat coming to us from the borderless space of the intemet. Intelligence Squared are bringing together some of the world's top intelligence professionals and cyber experts, including Jeh Johnson. Homeland Security Secretary under President Obama, who led the agency during Russia's cyber attack on the 2016 election; Jamie Bartlett. renowned author and digital technology expert who presented the recent BBC series Secrets of Silicon Valley; and Angela Sasse, a cyber security expert with a special interest in how humans interact with technology.
