Sure, Jeffrey.
Leon, Jeffrey would like your input on Chenue, the warehouse where the Giacometti is currently being stored in
Paris. Chenue is the warehouse that Gagosian and the Picasso family both use. Diana and I have spoken with the
warehouse manager and reviewed their facility report regarding temperature and humidity controls and we think
it is an appropriate, safe place to store the Giacometti. Storing the sculpture at Chenue also allows for supervised
viewings by potential purchasers. Please let me know if you have any questions about Chenue or if you think the
Giacometti should be stored at another location.
Thanks,
Heather

Good morning, Rich,
No new news about Gagosian's sales efforts on the Giacometti. I spoke with them last week and they said that they
were working hard on getting it sold, but had no updates. I told Leon this and he met with Jeffrey right after I spoke
EFTA00674994
with him, so I believe he and Jeffrey discussed it. I'll be asking Gagosian for an update again tomorrow (the gallery is
closed today) and will let you know what they say. I also asked Leon again about the Braque and he said he would
discuss it with Jeffrey.
Attached and below is information about the warehouse in Paris where the Giacometti is currently in storage.
Leon's curator and I
have reviewed the information and we think this facility is an appropriate and safe place to store for the sculpture.
It is also helpful to have it at Chenue (the warehouse) in case Gagosian has additional potential purchasers who
need to view it (better than trying to do viewings at Jeffrey's apartment).
The fee is 70 Euros per month for the first three months, and then it increases to 100 Euros per month because at
that point the work is no longer considered to be temporarily in France. I am checking with the shippers to
determine when we will need to change the temporary import of the work into France into a permanent import and
the VAT consequences of that, and will be back to you next week.
Please let me know (1) if Jeffrey wants to store the Giacometti at Chenue for the time being and (2) what info I
should give Chenue for the owner (I'm out of the office this week, so if you could resend me the address and contact
person for The Haze Trust, I'll forward it to Chenue and have them send whatever account paperwork they need to
have signed).
I'm at a conference this week, so best reachable by email because I'm in lectures all day and then I can step out and
call you/Jeffrey as needed.
Thanks!,
Heather

Dear Heather,
Please find enclosed our facility report that includes details on climate control, security, etc.
If your artwork stays in the storage area more than 3 months then it is not considered "in transit" anymore, so the
storage fee rises a bit. The price would thus be 70 € + VAT for 3 months and 100 € + VAT after that.
EFTA00674995
The smallest private space left in our facility is 18 sq. meters which I fear is far too big (this would be 850 € + VAT per
month).
I precise that even if your crate is stored in a collective area it does not mean we move it more. And if so happens
our specialized handlers move it and you are notified in advance of course.
Please do not hesitate if you need any further information.
Best regards,
Lisa Tourenne

Dear Anne-Sophie,
Thank you for your email. Can you please tell me what temperature and humidity controls you have in place in the
area where the sculpture will be stored? Also, is there an option to have the sculpture stored in a private room
instead of in a general space with other objects and, if so, what is the cost? We are concerned about it being moved
around a lot.
EFTA00674996
I am confirming with the owner now, but I believe he will be keeping his own insurance on the sculpture while it is at
the warehouse.
Best,
Heather

Dear Heather,
The presentation took place today morning. With Helene and Chantal's supervision, the work has been repacked
(front panels) and transferred to the safe at presentation end.
With reference to your email yesterday, we can certainly have the work stored in our warehouse.
I can offer 70€ HT/month (any month started is due in full). Insurance is not included in this price.
Please let me know if you would like to proceed and if I can help you in any way.
Best Regards,
Anne-Sophie for
