You are always welcome to every screening we do...and Andres can immediately send invites to you. We never know when you are in town. If Lesley can give Andres a heads up before you get into town....then Andres can send the invites earlier. I am back at 2 East 70th St. at Annette Tapert's apartment for a few months while the new contractors finish my apartment. The will of the dead lady next door is still in probate. i am finishing my apartment. The board is offering only me that apartment....they don't want anyone else in the building and do not want to deal with the board interviews. I think the apartment next door is in deplorable condition and undesirable to anyone. The value of a one bedroom on the forth floor in the back is really not worth much...even off Park. The upper East Side (except for top buildings and top town houses) is not what it used to be....and that apartment is only valuable to me to combine and have half a floor and a three bedrooms, etc. So I will finish my apt. and see if I can get the apt next door for a really good deal. The new plans are making my living room a large bedroom with a fireplace, the original bedroom a dressing room, enlarging my bathroom and making the second bedroom a library/tv room. So I will live in every inch of the apanment...if I get the place next door I can have double space to entertain if I want to get into that. Would love to see you. I am a block away.
