Case 18-2868, Document 278, 08/09/2019, 2628230, Page270 of 648 MILITARY LEAVE An employee who is a member of the United States Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard, a member of the National Guard, a member of the Reserves or Public Health Service will, where a specified period of active or reserve duty is mandatory, be granted a leave of absence in accordance with applicable law. Upon receipt of orders for active or reserve duty, the employee should notify his/her supervisor, as well as the Human Resources Manager immediately and he/she must submit a copy of his/her orders to his/her supervisor and the Human Resources Manager. MATERNITY LEAVE OF ABSENCE Pregnancy, childbirth, and related medical conditions are temporary disabilities for the purpose of any health or temporary disability insurance or sick leave policy maintained by the Club. An employee who is pregnant, or has medical conditions related to pregnancy will be granted a leave of absence and will be eligible for the same leave benefits as received by employees suffering from illness or other temporary disabilities.
