The 2012 Miss Universe pageant finale is Just a few days away! On Wednesday 19th
December 2012, the winner will be revealed...will it be any one of these African
Queens?
BellaNaija revealed the ladies representing African nations at this year's pageant; now
we get to take another look at them all dolled up for their glamorous Miss Universe
official photoshoot.
Of all the girls, the South African contestant seems to be the leading African queen
based on feedback from international beauty pageant analysts including the renowned
Global Beauties website.
Nigeria, Angola, Botswana, Ethiopia, Gabon, Ghana, Mauritius, Namibia, South
Africa and Tanzaniaare represented! No Canada hasn't shifted from North America to
Africa, however, Miss Canada was born in Ghana to Ghanaian parents so check her out
as well.
The new photos definitely give us a new view from the previous shots! So who's your

nurse and hopes to one day become a doctor.

serve her nation. Ameeksha's dream is to eventually work as either a Minister of
Education or Minister of Sports & Leisure for her home country of Mauritius.

Light skinned??!! Where?! I counted 9 dark skinned girls, 1 Arab looking girl,
1 white South African and 1 Ethiopian. Didn't see any regular caramel or
light skinned girls so we must not be looking at the same photos, I guess

I have to commend Angola for consistently sending pageant quality young
women to these competition. If one reviews the candidates that Angola has
sent over the last six or so years, you will agree. Another thing is that
Angola is unashamed to send in chocolate-skinned candidates along with
the light-skinned ones.

My views
Angola- there is a lot of pressure to perform but I think she could struggle
Botswana- another who could struggle- have not placed in top 10 since
Mpule won
Ethiopia- I am not convinced about this girl- she Is way too skinny
Gabon- wow factor- very pretty- will she land a top 16 spot? Will have to
wait and see
Ghana- she could struggle- she has been inconsistent so far
Mauritius- last year's winner was way way better than this Vlveka
Namibia- very pretty but I can't really feel her- something is missing
somewhere
Nigeria- could struggle- Damiete would have been the better
representative
South Africa- could Africa produce another Miss Universe? She Is the
favourite to win
Tanzania- very interesting candidate, would love to see her land a top 16
spot
Canada- I don't get her=she looks like a drag queen for my liking and ill
fitting dress too

Having watching the preliminaries, all I have to say is that as predicted,
Isabella is a complete disaster- in the swimsuit, she looked totally out of
shape; her evening gown was terrible and what was all that about in the
