I hope you are doing well and your body feels great after a trial thai massage session by the girls! As far as I understand your schedule is busy and that is why I'm reaching via email and here's the information I got by now. In order to biome an architect in NYC and get a license in the future one has to have the education recognized by NAAB (National Architectural Accrediting Board). In my case, the diploma can be equaled either to a Bachelor or to a Masters here in the US but It won't be recognized by NAAB which means it doesn't help a lot. So as I said before I will have to take a Master's program in the US. Currently, there are a few schools that with Master's accredited by NAAB: City College Of NY Columbia Pratt Parsons And a few more that are in state of NY but not in NYC. The first three have a 3-year full time program and Parsons has a 2 year program. All the programs are expensive. For instance, Columbia is 26,500 per term (6 terms total), City College is 870 per credit (18 credits per term for 6 terms), Pratt is 46,172 a year (3 years as well) and Parsons is 23,000 per term (4 terms) plus this doesn't include fees, books and software etc. The applications for the program are closed for this Autumn and the only option to enroll is Fall 2017. All the institutions require TOEFL and GRE and also I will have to go to Ukraine and do all the paperwork with my diploma. So as you see, It's a lot of money and that is why when you asked me about studying before I was thinking what are the «fast track* options. But the architectural path is not. That is why I never considered this because I always knew that money wise It's very unlikely that I could ever afford that. Regarding CAD courses - there are a few that Pratt offers as a pre-college addition and you can choose which program do you want to learn. They typically start May 20th-May 25th and last until the end of July. Each CAD program course is 905USD and I will probably need to buy a computer and software. That's what I wanted to tell you and hear what do you think I should do. forward to hearing back from you soon, please note The information contained in this communication is confidential, may be attorney-client privileged, may EFTA00698389 constitute inside information, and is intended only for the use of the addressee.
