That means STC is up and running. Missing only the controller, for the wife tie in. I had a lot of problems and issues with the systems in Choices network. I had to change from redline to Radwin to accommodate Choices infrastructure. I had to take down the 40' tower because Choice wanted to charge a monthly fee. The radio is mounted on choices pole and all is well. The biggest problem was the DW radios. I had to upgrade the as choice is upgrading there system and we would have had to upgrade them in February anyway so I though best I do it from now and avoid the headache. They are now 18ghz 40mhz Bandl with 100 meg capacity. The radios cost a extra $1800.00 and we saved $600.00 on the Radwin to redline change for a difference of $1200.00. The new brackets and antennas for the DW radios are in place and the radio on the st Thomas side is being installed today. Was going to be at 9:00 but I can't climb and still be on the phone for the meeting at 10:00. I will have the St Thomas side finish by Friday. Now for LSJ, Danny has finish everything I needed as of Wednesday and once the DW is pointed and functioning on Choices network I will start the install on LSJ. The extra links have not reached yet also, another issue with getting the latest and he didn't have those on hold for me. The rain has been stopping us from working and it's not any better today. Once it rains we need the tower to dry good before anybody climbs and work on it. I will be leaving island for the Xmas holidays and will return on the 30th. I expect to 2 weeks on LSJ to complete the project. Danny and myself have everything in place for a smooth install and transfer over. If anybody has any questions feel free to contact me.
