Good Morning boss,
It would be an excellent idea. Any form of advice is always welcome. LSJ has unique variables, and James might be able to
assist in more innovative solutions for better quality of service for the estate.
Thanks
Regards

Rich,
I'm concerned that Brice has jumped the gun in sending this to Jeffrey without getting
the monthly service charge rates for a Verizon Wireless Business UTE connection.
It used to be that business cellular packages were used for firewalls to report when the
primary internet connections went offline. Those services were usually ridiculously
expensive compared to the consumer plans because carriers like to gorge small
businesses whenever possible.

I'm worried that the boss is going to sign off on this, and we're going to end up
committed to a package with very little data and a couple of thousand $$ a month
charge.
Brice is laser focused on the device — the modem & antenna — which affects reliability,
but we NEED to know the VZW packages before we buy hardware to use with them.
Also, I've told Brice on several occasions quite explicitly that there is NO advantage to
tying this connection back into the Microwave T1 (phone and HVAC) network.
The only reason I suggested that to begin with was because it was something I could do
remotely and avoid having him reconfigure the wireless network without me. He blew
that when the trial service was setup without a static IP and I had to walk him through
breaking the two networks apart.
There's NO reason to rejoin the networks now; we get NOTHING out of it, so we don't
need a static ip for this connection.

attached estimate for Feeney Wireless, Skyus 4G modem and Antenna's
Equipment cost: $1264.55
Installation cost: $750.00
Static IP cost: $500.00 ( Verizon )
Total cost: $2514.00
Antenna would be place out on Master Bedroom Terrace, Modem would be installed in
storage closet in Master Suite
There is an existing run of Cat 5 from Master Suite storage closet to switch/router in
basement, then to New Ranch Network
Service is Verizon 4G LTE, and would be billed to Business Account at Business service
provision rates.
for your consideration

I'm presently in contact, thru Verizon Wireless Business Solutions , with Feeney
Wireless regarding there Skyus 4G modem and Antenna's
Feeney Wireless is a Verizon business partner.
This equipment seems more robust than the residential Verizon modem and router.
Feeney Wirelss have indicated that service would still be Verizon 4G LTE on our
business account.
I have request pricing for equipment and confirmation of service provision.
I should have this information next week and will forward when received to all parties
Please note Verizon have recently taken over Plateau Wireless and are now expanding
there wireless service to this corridor.
I will be forwarding information regarding our tower location to there network people.
Again will let you know outcome.
