From: Gregory Brown To: Jeffrey Epstein <jeevacation@gmail.com> Subject: Dr Mohamed Al Magraiaf just elected President of Libya - Great News Date: Fri, 10 Aug 2012 14:56:26 +0000 Jeffrey Remember, Dr. Al Magariaf is the guy who I introduced you at the UN reception last June and he was the guy that I wanted you to bring to New York last September for the opening of the UN General Assembly. You were too busy my friend and we loss our advantage because the big guys will be offering him everything now that he is Libya's first democratically elected President Especially since Libya is a very rich country with a small population that will be spending a half of trillion dollars over the next seven years to develop the country and jump start the economy. So if you are serious, we need to come up with a unique selling proposition that separates us with the pack. If you are interested in this, I am willing to work with you.... Sincerely, Greg Brown On Fri, Aug 10, 2012 at 6:23 AM, Jeffrey Epstein <jeevacation@gmail.com> wrote: lets see him in new york. , i assume he iscoming for general assembly On Thu, Aug 9, 2012 at 9:25 PM, Gregory Brown < > wrote: Dear Friends.... Dr. Mohammed Al Magariaf (considered by many as die Nelson Mandela of Libya) and the co-founder of the National Front for the Salvation of Libya (NFSL) was just elected President of Libya today. Dr. Al Magariaf, (www.almagarialcom), has been the leading opposition figure to the regime of Muammar Al Gaddafi for the past 31 years and co-founder of the NFSL and the #1 person on the Gaddafi regime's hit- list. Because Gaddafi feared him the most, (http://english.aljazeera.net/indepth/opinion/2011/04/2011415163618467700.html ), the regime's hit squads made a number of attempts to assassinate Dr. Al Magariaf, including blowing up of a French UTA flight in 1989 over Niger that killed the US Ambassador to Chad's wife along with another 155 innocent victims/civilians. Dr. Magariaf is a devout moderate Muslim who opposes extremism and has been attacked by radical Muslim groups in Libya, some with ties to Al Qaeda. More importantly he has good relationships and support throughout the Middle East, as well as in the United States where he lived for the past 10 years before his return to Libya. In June I helped to arrange for Dr. Magariaf to bring a delegations from the TNC to New York where they met with the President of the UN General Assembly, Joseph Deiss, President Elect, Nassir Abdulaziz Al- Nasser and a number of other department heads at the United Nations, as well as Human Rights Watch, other relevant groups and interested parties. On June 15, 2011, we arranged a reception (their first official event) at United Nations honoring Dr. Magariaf's delegation in support of the TNC and the people of Libya in their fight for self determination after 42 years of tyranny at the hands of Muammar Qaddafi. And September 20, 2011 the community of nations led by President Obama formally invited the TNC to take its seat in the United Nations as the sole legitimate representative of the Libyan People. Libya is a rich country, with the largest crude oil reserves and second largest natural gas reserves on the EFTA00713082 African Continent, as well as more than US$150 billion in cash and assets residing outside of the country. With a small population of approximately six million people, together with huge crude oil and national gas reserves, the World Bank defines Libya as an 'Upper Middle Income Economy' and in the 1980s its GDP per capita was higher than Italy, Singapore, South Korea, Spain and New Zealand. Therefore, with prudent management and financial responsibility, there is no reason that Libya can't return to its position as the #1 GDP per capita economy on the African Continent and one of the strongest in the world. Dr. Al Magraiaf who returned to Libya last year after 30 years has wide popular support in Libya due to his long opposition to the Gaddafi regime and having never accepted overtures by to return and be part of the regime, something most Libyan opposition leaders did. Dr. Al Magariaf is considered a living legend and a man of the people in the vein of Nelson Mandela. This is a great day for the "new" Arab Spring Sincerely, Greg Brown Gregory Brown Chairman & CEO GlobalCasi Partners.
