For me I usually don't even have to try for the observer to get that impression, very effective strategy, minimal effort.
Sure, game theory has ifs flaws (rational assumption in backwards induction being a major fail point), but can be useful for
getting a handle on complex systems.

My philosophical POV is that bitcoin is a lot like the bourgeois strategy in hawk dove — it provides a common rule we can
defect to reliably for resolving disputes. But there's so much more layered in how that rule gets made.
