DECEMBER 01, 2011
On December 8th, Kickstarter presents the NYC premiere of Girl Walk //All Day, a
dance film unlike any other. We're projecting the film on multiple screens
surrounding a giant dance floor and we want to share it with YOU. Best of all, it's
free and open to the public. Click here for the full lineup and RSVP.
Don't worry about what to wear — there's plenty of style to go around in this week's
projects!

School's out
Thinking about going back to school? Think
again! Writer and grad school dropout Kio
Stark takes a closer look at what you can learn
outside of the classroom. Through interviews

Style Wars was an indispensable document of
'80s hip-hop culture, as well as a dramatic
portrait of New York City during a time of tumult
and prolific creative output from its youth. The
outtakes from the film are tremendous artifacts
of this culture at its finest and most chaotic —
moments that filmmaker Henry Chalfant hopes
to rescue from storage and preserve for
generations to come.

Singular sensation
Kristin and Shannon set out to design a piece
of clothing that would help them travel light and
live simply. Their answer? The Versalette, a
single piece of clothing that can be worn —
count 'em! — 15 different ways. Made of
recycled fabric, the Versalette is your new
adorable skirt, dress, scarf, bag, shirt, and
poncho. Sure beats a romper.
