From: "William Murphy" To: "Jeffrey Epstein" <jeevacation@gmail.com> Subject: FW: Additional Internet capacity at LSJ and FTC Date: Wed, 11 Aug 2010 16:09:06 +0000 Good morning sir, I just wanted to follow up with you about getting additional bandwidth at FTC and LSJ. I emailed the following on Friday and just wanted to see if you wish to pursue additional capacity for the two locations or if you are satisfied with the current bandwidth. Also, I need to purchase the iMacs for the Library on the island. Apple cannot ship them directly from the US to the USVI. If I purchase them here, where would be the best location to have them delivered to get them on a plane? Thanks, WM From: William Murphy Sent: Friday, August 06, 2010 12:57 PM To: 'Jeffrey Epstein' Subject: Additional internet capacity at LS] and FTC Good afternoon boss, Our search for additional internet capacity in the USVI put us in contact with Choice Communications, Sprint and ATT. Jermaine and Jeanne met with a representative from An a few weeks ago. They are quoting us for 9M circuits each for LSJ and FTC. The prices per meg are less than half what we are currently paying with Sprint. Sprint service provides 1.5Mbps costing FTC and LSJ each $1380 per month. ATI' service will provide each location 9Mbps and costs $3057 and $3363 per month for FTC and LSJ respectively. If you are looking for additional capacity at each of these locations, I believe ATT offers the best option. Choice's offering wasn't cheapest and additional costs would be incurred developing a wireless site on LSJ and FTC to receive service. ATT's offering is cheapest, they are the only carrier with fiber connecting St Thomas to the mainland US and they have been frequently identified as the most reliable provider by people I have spoken to in the USVI. The fiber connectivity from Florida to St Thomas should reduce round trip times for data transmission, improving user experience at each location for individuals attempting to access resources EFTA00734041 stateside. ATI' has agreed to work with us to set up a Virtual Private Network connecting FTC and LSJ to our existing infrastructure to make transitioning from our current provider seamless. They are requesting a commitment of 3 years and I wanted to get an ok from you before proceeding with Darren regarding the details of the agreement. Please let me know if this is something you wish me to pursue. Thanks, William Murphy Systems Administrator — HBRK Associates P: M F: EFTA00734042
