It is most unfortunate that everything fell apart but I'd like to make a tentative proposal to you for your comments. I'll lay out
everything I know with my thoughts below.
Sikorsky has a potential customer (the government of Argentina) that expects to make a commitment for an S-76C++ in the
late September time frame for immediate delivery. We have shown them pictures of 750 and they are quite pleased with the
aircraft. From your standpoint, would you be willing to trade back 750 to Sikorsky with one of two options:
1. They would deliver to you a new C++ identical to 750 and I would guess that delivery would take place sometime in the
summer of 2011. This would be an even swap. The serial number would be somewhere in the 780 range and one of the last
76C++'s to deliver.
2. If you are willing to wait, I think I "might" be able to get Sikorsky to agree to deliver you a D model clone of 750.
(Obviously if there are certain things in 750 avionics-wise that cannot be duplicated in the D, they would not apply but
everything else would be a line item by line item clone.) This would be a swap for 750.
Let me know your thoughts so I can possibly keep this deal going forward. I've tried to keep this e-mail between us. My
opinion would be since you have 407, you would be trading your C++ and getting a D and you know what you paid for the
++. I need some indication or variations of this if you want to proceed since they need to get back to the Argentineans. Then
obviously I need to go and get this put together for you at Sikorsky.
