I met an instructor and saw the new planes. They said they keep the best ones there because it's the most complex airspace. They will set aside 10-15 consecutive days for the cross country portion of the training and the rest is local. Like at an airline, I will have to call dispatch in the mornings who will tell me where I am flying, I file the plan do the pre-flight and let than know I can take off, then I call them again when I land and they give me the next location. They have no other cc student up here so they said they will either airline me to Fit in the morning and I will take off from there with another student or they might airline him up here. Apparently FL is one of the popular destinations so I might be there quite a bit, sometimes for a few hours, sometimes even overnight There is no problem with transferring and if there is a day I need to be somewhere for a day and I let them know in advance, they might even be able to organize it so I fly there commercial and the next trip will be from there... The instructor did the program and he said it was the most fun one because you are really working in an airline environment.
