Library: agreed with shagreen or any other material. But what is wrong there are the panels themselves, the raised part is totally wrong proportion, that is why ones eyes feel so uncomfortable. Your eyes notice how wrong these proportions are earlier than your brains do. It is of course the tortoise shell but whatever material you'll put there will not solve the problem. The way to do it is to remove the raised panels on those with tortoise shell and choose a material to cover these panels fully. The material in question mirror or shabreen has to disappear in the background, if it does not the only thing you'll see is how odd and badly proportioned these panels are... Between you and me that's why I liked the old spotted mirror. One would no longer notice them, we can try a panel of shagreen and one mirrored panel. Let me sketch the pavillion please. I feel I am right... We could have sliding wood panels closing the glass openings... I'll try to have sketches for when you are there, and please don't make your mind up until we have talked about it together. I have a good idea for the outside tub, I'll sketch it also next week. No worries, just give me. Bit of time.
