The office person told me he did not have access to former resident names but neither name sounded familiar to him. When asked if they could check a resident name to confirm residency, one of the reps firmly said she would not. Black did not persist and did not identify himself since neither name nor name was mentioned. The property manager representative believed Black to be interested in becoming a tenant. Investigator Black then traveled to the and found that the business was closed and vacant. Conversations with employees at neighboring businesses confirmed that The and closed sometime in the spring of 2009 due to extremely slow customer traffic and loss of operating revenue. Research indicates that the had been closed down previously until the spring of 2008. The founder of Church Street Station, Bob Snow, is believed to have purchased the from the Cameron Kuhn.
