It was necessary for them to physically restrain her to keep her from falling into the canal. This statement was taped and he also wrote out a statement which is included in this report. After taking these statements from the above subjects, they were all released to their parents. This investigator then conducted an interview with Fire/Rescue officer Ellen F. Delai who was in the rescue wagon with the victim while she was being transported to the hospital. She states that the victim had indicated to her that she had been assaulted, and she had also seen what appears to be blood on the victims underpants. He had the victims clothes and the contents of the "Rape Kit", these were placed into property. Det. Robeson also took a taped statement from the victim at the hospital, this is also in property.
