Dear Don,
I am convinced that Margulisian Symbiosis and Williamsonian Hybridogenesis are the most important advancements in the
understanding of evolutionary biology since common descent.
All attempts at genetic origins of form have failed including the hox-gene theory and Turing Reaction- Diffusion.
I look forward to you applying this body of thought to the unravelling of the origin of form and of human morphogenesis. Is
vertebrate/human development direct? The irrelevance of the early stages argue against direct devo. Is there a
vertebrate larval stage in addition to frogs? Your comment on the suddenness of human puberty is worthy of substantial
further investigation.
