Re: revised flooring proposal
Hi Robert,
I will touch base with my =uilding manager who is meant to place the order for me. Also, I'm =econsidering putting wood
in the kitchen now! Is the satin poly finish =urable for a kitchen, or would it need another coating of =omething?

Most clean boards end up 6 to 9 =nches wide, then very select ones go over 10 inches wide.
To =ake them 5" wide, they have to cut them again, then do the tong and =roove — this brings up the price
around 20%.
Your =rder would be around $1400 more for all same 5" wide.
The =ontinental oak is always cheaper because the wood is simply cleaner — =o matter the tree location, oak in
Europe does not have so many =mperfections / knots.
