On Tuesday, June 20th, IMG's Preside=t, Ann Hayes, will provide a thorough overview of the issues surrounding s=xual
harassment in the workplace. Often thought to be an issue of th= past, sexual harassment continues to affect
companies and employees throu=hout the country. As technology and social media have become commonplace, =t is
necessary for corporate leaders to prevent all types of harassment. &=bsp;Allegations of harassment, true or not, can
spread rapidly and ruin th= reputations of individuals or businesses.
A commonsense approach to prevention=is the best strategy. Ms. Hayes will highlight areas in which professional=
might find themselves crossing the line, often without realizing it. She =ill discuss ways that individuals should conduct
themselves in a variety o= professional environments and how to handle allegations of harassment if =hey do arise.
Creating a corporate culture free of harassment is not only =ossible, but imperative for survival in today's social
environment as=harassment allegations can result not only in civil liabilities, but crimi=al consequences as well.
