From: Lvjet Sent: Wednesday, May 6, 2015 2:29 AM To: jeevacation@gmail.com Subject: Re: GIV update today we removed all the fan blades on Right engine and applied DEL "Dry Film Lubricant" to blade roots,. this prevents Fan blades from Metal to Metal against hub, and allow free movement of blades. we will complete same process on Left engine tomorrow morning. Rolls Royce Tech support informs that high power settings, the fan blades actually torque with High RPM,. its important to have DFL at base of Fan blades, since they are loose fit blades,. this is why you hear chatter when Fans windmill on the ground,. once DFL has cured, we will run engines on Thursday to check Fan balance,. HP bleed valve operation, and IGV "Inlet Guide Vane" scheduling,. Rolls Royce wanted DFL application before running engines,. ---- Original Message ---- From: jeffrey E. <jeevacation@gmail.com> To: lvjet Sent: Tue, May 5, 2015 10:06 pm anything interestging yet/ please note The information contained in this communication is confidential, may be attorney-client privileged, may constitute inside information, and is intended only for the use of the addressee.
