Subject: Re: Davos for Behavioral Sciences
That's an interesting idea!
Did I tell you about the "Hard problems in social science" event we had a couple of months ago?
We eventually got a list of the 10 hardest problems. The New Scientist is doing a piece on the
event now, and we are debating having a prize for anybody who solves one of them.
I thought you didn't like prize...

i would rather see , an anual competition for the best ideas. maybe team driven. I
wonder if we could do it American Idol style. and hold an America got Ideas

Yep, I plan on doing that too, exactly that. The question was whether an annual
idea-fest would make sense (with serious ideas).

Hi JEE..
What do you think of having an annual event at the Center, a Davos-
like thing for the behavioral sciences? Invite the top 50 researchers
in the world, and 150 movers-and-shakers, and let them
move/shake?
Bc well,
